Bugman's gamecube portable WIP

I bought my special 3.5 inch screen with the tiny ass motherboard 2 weeks ago and it still hasnt been shipped!!! fml.

All the buttons and stuff are in the case cept the screen cause shipping from china sucks. Well since my 1.9v regulator isnt working, I wired the original gc regulator back up, and after 20 minutes the regulator board is hotter than the actual gamecube so I may need to get a new 1.9v regulator anyway. The tallest thing on the front of the case is the trimmed controller board and I plan on keeping it that way.

Also, how does gamecube lite sound for a name??

So I got an ffc cable all soldered up from ashen. I wired the wiikey up in like 20 minutes. I couldnt get it to work and it wasnt showing me anything. I finally realized that I was looking at the wrong diagram for the few wires that I soldered to the vias for and then I fixed it and it immediately went to the linux menu. It says "Error reading disc" at the linux menu. When I take out the sd card, it says insert sd card. And then I do it, and it gives me the error. I tried 2 different sd cards both are formatted with wbfs manager. 1 has just the 1.5 up date and the other has the update with some games on it. I tried 2 different sd slots from my previous wiikeys. Whats going on here???

I agree, but that's too bad that it got real scuffed up when putting things in it. In fact, dont like it so much right now that I'm starting on a new case but I'm not sure how well that will be since the controls might be too cramped. But the idea of the new case is 10x more sexier than the white case garunteed. Updates soon.

I cut the buttons out from a piece of styrene and then performed the switch a roo.

And then applied plenty of abs cement

Then a few hours of drying later, I removed the tape to get a glimpse of it so I can sleep soundly.

I feel like orange would look the coolest, but it would be too much for me. I like indigo though. What's the best type of paint to use? I dont want to use something that scratches/peels off.

Thanks for the complements! Also, I'm thinking about using a different heatsink that doesnt need air coming in or out on the sides of the case where your hands might be. This fan is speaking to me.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/230895257843?ss ... 1423.l2649 Is it better to suck or to blow? Also, does anyone know how tall that fan is?
