Got 400. Wetsanded. Alot. Still scratches. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Are you sanding by hand, or using a sander?

If you're not using a sander, go get one. It makes it so much easier/faster/nicer.

I bought a palm sander from someone on the forums a while back, I believe it was Zet. It works nais, and the things I've sanded, even with a ~300 grit sand paper came out pretty nice. Of course, I also have a 1000 grit that I like to work my way up to and finish on.

DOUBLE POST AW YEA.
Ok so, went out and bought primer and epoxy paint, however the epoxy paint is made specifically for metals, do you guys think it'll stick to plastic? Priming it tonight.

Might not, though I use rustoleum on some of my projects, takes like a day or two to dry. Just make sure to clear coat it after it has dried.

Don't clear coat over epoxy paint...

Put a coat or two of primer on before you spray it. It'll stick fine.

Well, I'am using rustoleum.... Anyway, case looks great so far, going to wait till tomorrow for it to dry, then pics.

Thnx guys.
So, I just painted the final coat, however a huge gust of wind brought sand and dust and ruined my case. So I got a can of paint tinner and covered it, but later discovered that it was acetone. Now my case is a huge mound of abs cement. I officially give up on this project and Iam quiting ModRetro.

I just repainted, need to paint the sides a bit more, but it looks good I think. So, what do guys think of white on black color scheme? I've also done a bunch of work on the back of the case, pics later.
