You don't get raped my monsters if you build a sword and armor. And a lot of survival servers have creepers nerfed for that very reason, so they might do damage, but they won't destroy anything. Honestly, play on a PvP server for a bit and normal survival will seem like a breeze. Maybe its just because some of us have been playing longer, but for us, creative gets old pretty fast. Where is the fun in just being granted whatever item you want without any work?

I don't know how you play Creative, but I sure as Heck was never granted whatever material I wanted. I have to mine for everything. But not having to contend with monsters means I'm free to do nothing but build stuff.

That's not creative then .

A creative server is where you can spawn anything and only create. You're talking about just having monsters disabled then, which isn't nearly as bad.

I have a 6-slot dedicated brohoster server that has a few weeks left on it. If anyone's interested, we could use that temporarily.

If anyone is interested, I am running a server most of the time now. It is available at "xcvgmc.servegame.com" without the quotes of course. It has some stuff built on it, runs Bukkit and has a flaxty internet connection. But hey, if you're desperate for Minecraft, it's there.
