OSSIM STUFF ON PG 17! Worklog: The TriSixtyFource

Re: Worklog: The TriSixtyFource

"Hey guys, I'm going to be making a new N64p!"

"How to insert things into your anal cavity!"

"*Can'tSayThisOnTV* you, Basement_Modder!"

You guys can be annoying sometime. I do not want to have to lock my own worklog.

Re: Worklog: The TriSixtyFource

If it were me, I'd go for the usual portrait portable with a 3.5" screen and NO CONTROLLER FLANKS.

Also, how close is the fit in there? I remember deciding an sl-68p would ALMOST hold an un-rcp wired n64, what do you think?

Re: Worklog: The TriSixtyFource

I like it, hopefully you can pull it off. I'd like to see it done. I do really recommend replacing the ram with expansion pak ram and just putting on the resistors and caps. It will save you a half inch of space, sideways or up, relocating the expansion pak or not. The annoying part though is the cartridges being wider then the system it self. I have yet to come up with a something to solve that.

Now get to work and make it look awesome SS! :ssawesome:

Re: Worklog: The TriSixtyFource

I personally think that, if pulled off right, controller flanks will work nicely. Except...the control stick? I assume you'll be switching to a GCN analog stick?

Re: Worklog: The TriSixtyFource

I didn't intend to sound angry, that was just my response to samjc3's 1st page post that said he was copying nintendo. I thought it was the last post.

@snow- the thred was entitled, "I've finally given up on this 'having a life' thing." or something like that.

@SS- I thought of landscape, but the sl-68p wouldn't allow mych room for controlls...

Re: Worklog: The TriSixtyFource

If you do flanks, you have to do landscape. Portrait with flanks wouldn't look right. o.O

Re: Worklog: The TriSixtyFource

Well basically you wouldn't need cartridges. I think you would need one as a dummy inside the portable, any will do, but then yo wouldn't need an actual cart on the outside.

I see. What would I do with that?

SS

Well you can use it to play any game you want on your portable. But I don't realy like it. It holds a max of two games at a time and you need to buy another part for saves.

Means you have to have a pc always handy for new game transfers. And if I'm doing that I would bring my laptop and play on it.

Also $199 is ri-frickin-diculous.

Re: Worklog: The TriSixtyFource

I will make an n64 with one of these cases. Mark my words. But no build log.
