Alternatively, BAMF could be Ashen's default text, and BAMF should always link to Ashen's profile. But this basically goes without saying.

We have considered doing that, it is a tricky thing, though. We could just send it to the whole memberlist, but they never signed up for what they may see as spam. If we make it opt-in only, most of the people on the list will be people who already regularly check the forums anyway.

Good idea but we need a more sizable userbase, although instead of a newsletter, why not just a front page accessable by everyone.

I think that the front page (http://www.modretro.com) should be like the portal, with the front page forum showing all of the notable mods. The only problem is that the front page is hardly updated...

If I could help, I'd be glad to. I could probablymake a Wordpress theme or something...
