hay everyone,
im attempting to make my own gamecube portable a third time!!! (first two failed):
first never made it due to bad soldering wiring etc,
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10994
second one was finished, but DD lid wouldn't close. plus it was big (no soldering, and was badly made).

anyways, I'm after a long time attempting to build a gcp for myself a thrid time.
so, it goes as such this time:
a while ago i saw on MR here on the Junkyard thread a topic for sale on bugman's stuff and one was an N64 portable case.

How much for the n64 portable case?
And can it be used for a GameCube portable?
I mean to fit in the controls of a GC controller?
Just wondering"
Bugman replied:
"15.99€ for the case. You could easily fit a gamecube in there and possibly without trimming it. The dimensions are 8.75 x 5.75 x 3 inches. It already has a cartridge slot cut out and you need another analog stick for a gamecube. It is possible, but I recommend that this case is used for the n64."
after i received his reply on my comment i sent him a PM showing my deep interest in buying said case from him.
so, i bought the case from him. he then sent it off to me, i received it, so happy. case is very cool. great for someone like me who is not good at all at making cases.
and perfect for a GCP. the color is just like my Original GC i had as a child. and the gc i bought now to make into a portable now (third one).
price was good, case was ready made, and it works for my portable :
here's my pic of it when i received it:
1/9/12
i got the idea to drill out holes for the air vents, so i used my small drill with a drill bit to do so. and using the gc's metal case thing for the vent holes to help my drill out. easy stuff
looks good and I'm going to add the GC logo thing (i made it look shiny from adding Nail Varnish to it)
case back (modded) and front side (unmodded yet)
end result: (i glued the GC logo on with UHU logo to stick fully as the sticky thing it has doesn't seem to stick very well as before)
