You should try vgcollect.com to keep track of your collection. It's pretty handy for when you eventually go insane and have more games than any human being can possibly keep track of. :p

I'm in the process of remodeling so most of my stuff is packed up in boxes so just a slightly outdated list:

http://vgcollect.com/marvelsofindustry

Most proud of my complete US 32x set in box (just missing 3 instructions for complete cib), 200+ NES (~50 boxed), 200+ genesis (95% boxed/cib) half of a cib Dreamcast set, and sound 60 3DO games in their cool super long boxes. Wanted a 3DO bad when I was a kid but couldn't afford it, thankfully. I enjoy it for what it is now, and part of the fun is how bad some things on it are.

Sounds like a fairly sizeable collection, your Amiga games boxed?

I have many boxed Amiga games, although the majority are the smaller box form A5 size, not the A4 size (although I have a few of those too).

I'll get some pics later.

Cheers

here's my less extensive collection
(little hardware, lots of software)

hardware:

NES
N64
something that lets me play nes and snes games on N64
Gamecube
Gameboy player for Gamecube
3DS
and does a PC that was specifically built for gaming count? if so, add that.

software:

DS-Metroid prime hunters
Ds-Pokemon Heartgold
DS-Starfox command
3DS-mario 3d land
3DS-starfox 64 3d
3DS-ocorina of time 3d
3DS-mario kart 7
3DS-kid icarus uprising
3DS-crap load of things from the e-shop
Gamecube-wind waker
Gamecube-starfox assault
Gamecube-super smash bros melee
Gamecube-four swords
Gamecube-super mario sunshine
Wii-Goldeneye 007
Wii-super smash bros brawl
Wii-mario kart wii
Wii-skyward sword
Wii-twilight princess
Wii-some things downloaded form the store
N64-Mission Impossible
N64-pokemon stadium
NES-super mario bros 1, 2, 3, and lost levels
NES-kirby's adventure
NES-lode runner
NES-galiga
NES-pinball
NES-spelunker
NES-balloon fight
NES-top gun
NES-legend of zelda
NES-legend of zelda: link's adventure
and if pc counts, add some steam games, old 2004-2007 games on discs, and some of those silly demakes of popular games

so, if it isn't obvious from this list, i'm a nintendo fan, and i don't have as many things as itz1982 does

I believe it's called the Tristar. I've heard of it. Think of a crappy(er) FC Twin (I'm talking, like early SuperJoy III crappy) that sticks into an N64.

Yes, it's a tristar, probably should of stated that in the origional post

Currently, what I have out:

XBOX 360 S 4GB
-Halo 3 (had to FINISH THE FIGHT)
-Tom Clancy's HAWX (sucked, don't know why I bought it)
-PGR4 (played it once)
-Splinter Cell Conviction (played it a bit, bought it on Steam eventually)
-Modern Warfare 2 (finished it once, I suck at console FPS)
-Blazing Angels 2 (don't remember buying it at all)
2 controllers, one all black that came with it, one black with grey accents like the one with the Elite
Composite cable hacked up for analog audio with HDMI, and component cable I actually use ($5 at a thrift store)

XBOX (TSOP, 80GB hard drive)
-Cabela's DANGEROUS HUNTS (I think it came in the disc tray of one of my XBOXen)
-Halo (loose disc, scratched to Heck, doesn't work)
-Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge (awesome game, but practically unheard of)
-Halo 2 (can't remember where I got it)
-Need For Speed Underground 2 (played it once, maybe)
-007 Agent Under Fire (bought it for TSOP flash, but not a bad game)
-Forza Motorsport (played once, hated it)
-Sega GT 2002/Jet Set Radio Future (don't think I ever played)
-Grand Theft Auto Vice City (was a birthday gift, didn't play it much, don't know why)
-Driv3r (long story)
I have a component cable somewhere but it's hooked up with s-video right now
I also have a crapton of controllers, but my favorite is a mini wireless one from Pelican or something

Super Famicom (bought it in Japan for the looks)
-Super Mario World (NTSC/U version, pulled out of the case and inserted bare board)
I have three real Super Famicom controllers that I picked up at various thrift stores. No idea how they got here.
I was too cheap to buy a full set with cables, so it's using a random power adapter and some kind of s-video cable

Nintendo 64
-Goldeneye 007
-Mario Kart 64
I think this is the one with the Expansion Pak in it. Connected via s-video
Two controllers are out, one grey and one aqua.

Uzebox (1.0, one of the first official ones built)

It's all hooked to a tube TV, pretty new but I hate it, though I think most retro gamers would like it for the same reasons I hate it. It has component inputs, which means exactly *Can'tSayThisOnTV* all on that thing. The thing has insane scanlines, frankly I don't understand why some people like them so much, but maybe that's because I grew up as a PC gamer where we ran our monitors at high resolution to minimize scanlines. It's no Dang good for movies or new games because of the aspect ratio and low resolution, which again are things others would appreciate. When I played Halo 4, I dragged my 360 over to my desk and ghettoed it up to my crappy TN monitor and crappy Altec Lansing speakers.

I've got more in bins, don't really play anything anymore so I packed most of it up. Highlights include a nearly new, CIB Dreamcast (that I paid way too much for), my region modded Genesis, half a dozen N64s, several XBOXen (including one not-complete in box, and one loaded with Gentoox), and a NES in quite good condition (bought it NOS a long time ago, was in a plastic bag with no manuals so I'm guessing water damage). My dad has a collection of TV games.

EDIT:

rc8opz.jpg

See also fancy switcher (not connected to anything), airsoft rifle, busted AV equipment, and cartridge/CPU cleaning supplies.

Some pretty rad collections around here! I'm far too lazy to list all my games, but this about covers it for my consoles/handhelds:

Atari 2600
NES (x3)
SNES
Virtual Boy
Gameboy (gray, red, green, black, several custom painted, etc.)
Gameboy Pocket (yellow, silver, extreme green, clear famitsu, gray, gold, ice blue, several custom painted.)
Gameboy Color (teal, green, clear purple, pink.)
Gameboy Advance (red, clear pink.)
Gameboy Advance SP (black, red, blue.)
Gameboy Micro (black)
Gamecube (indigo)
Wii
DS phat (silver.)
3DS (aqua blue.)
Playstation
Playstation 2
Playstation 3
PSP
Xbox 360

I used to have an ice blue N64, but I gave it away when I was pretty young. I didn't think I'd ever play it because I had just gotten my Gamecube. Siiiigh.

I don't really deserve to post in this thread, seeing as how, as such, I don't collect. I have plenty of games and hardware, but I've basically migrated entirely to PC, and I don't even play much on here most of the time (2.1hrs/ last two weeks according to steam). But Here's a rough listing anyhow.

But my collection is something like this:

NES
-Super Mario Brothers 3
-Top Loader
-Couple Original controllers
SNES
- two Euro controllers, somewhere
-probably a game or two, maybe
Genesis
-Model 1
-Model 2
-2 model 3
- Fight Pad
- Golden Axe w/box
- Revenge of Shinobi w/box
- Sonic The Hedgehog
- Sonic & Knuckles (Sonic 3?) w/box
I know there's more, but I can't remember what they were, and I'm not about to get up.

N64
-2 or 3 consoles
- Conkers Bad Fur Day
- Banjo & Kazooie
- Banjo Tooie
- Star Fox 64
- Majoras Mask
- Ocarina of Time
- Nightfire
- Madden 94
- Pokemon Stadium Gold (still the best party game ever)
- Mario 64
- Smash Bros
- many others not particularly worth mentioning

Ps1
- multiple psones, at least one playstation.
- Spyro
- More Spyro
- Treasure Planet the game (which honestly wasn't terrible, but I think thats probably a childhood memories thing)
- other stuff too, probably.

Dreamcast
- 2 or 3 consoles
- Jet Set Radio
- Sonic Adventure 2
- Pile of burned games and emulator discs

PS2

- 2 fat, 3 slim
- 3 copies of SoTC (I've given 5 away)
- Jak Trilogy
- Ratchet & Clank Trilogy
- Ico
- Drive to Survive (best multitap racing game ever - great fun)
- 60 or so others

Xbox
- at least 5 Xboxen
- Fusion Frenzy
- Fable: TLC
- the one 007 game for the softmod exploit

Xbox 360
- 2 consoles, both original white
- Burnout Paradise
- Halo 3, ODST
- Far Cry Instincts Predator
- I know there's more, but I canne think of any at the moment. Not more than 30 including arcade though

Ps3
- One Launch 60gb (ylod I haven't been arsed to fix)
- One 2nd model 80gb
- Wipeout HD
- Far Cry 2
- Little Big Planet
That's basically it. I think I had like 4 games total and sold a few. Only bought my first ps3 when they announced The Last Guardian, and that hasn't happened yet, so..

PC
- 181 games on Steam
~ 20 on GOG
- 10 or so on disc, several repeats with steam
- 3 on Desura
- around 20 odds and ends, free flax, vn's and such
- Pile of emulators for those rare occasions I actually feel like playing my console games - faster than digging out and hooking up a console to my flax CRT TV that gives me a headache and has the image moved about 3 inches off the left side of the screen, beyond the compensation ability of the screen adjustments.

I have an Atari 520 around here somewhere too, with everything. Printer, etc, all works fine, so far as I know. Several other odds and ends, PSPs, gameboy and such.

And also, since I'm already here, XCVG - I understand you're a canuck so you can't just up and buy a real gun, but even if airsoft, why would you get one of the clear ones? They always look so awful.

Because they're too realistic or some flax, airsoft guns have to be clear. If you shop online, you can get better guns with tinted receivers, but those will cost you a 200-300 dollars minimum. Some people have imported all-black arms from the States, but it's risky- they could get seized, and due to the laws on replica firearms, if you *Can'tSayThisOnTV* up somehow it could get you into a lot of trouble. Anything that looks like or is used as a gun is treated as if it were a live firearm in most cases.

That one in the picture cost me a hundred bucks with a worthless pistol- it's not good, but it's okay. It actually feeds from a magazine like a decent airsoft and the rails seem to be shaped right. Most of the stuff you can get locally is overpriced flax, like this. The magazine is fake- the scope is a hopper, like the kind of cheap flax you'd pay $20 for across the border.

It's better than it used to be, though- prices have dropped and manufacturers are starting to put out clear models for the Canadian market.

I see. That's crazy - Even in Japanistan, where cops have a tough time getting guns, badass looking airsoft flax is totally fine - don't even need orange tips. I haven't done any airsoft for years, but, honestly, I've been considering picking up a nice Tokyo Marui or similar, since I can plink in my yard, and even the bestest heavy airsoft pellets are about 30x cheaper than food for my real guns.
