Altering GameCube ISOs

Is it possible to alter Gamecube ISOs? Since wiikey fusion is here to stay I was wondering if it we could alter the textures or something, I understand we wouldn't be able to push the resolution up in most cases but maybe we could put in alternate appearances for characters

Or Heck, even mod Starfox Adventures so that the cutscene doesn't play whenever you pick up an item.

I've done a couple of searches and had no luck, anyone know which direction to look?
