Hi everybody,

Hi doctor Nick.

I love gaming. Always have. Ever since we couldn't afford a console because we were immagrants in a not so welcoming country. So I started saving all I had for my first console. And I was hooked. Many years later and a more welcoming attitude I managed to save more money and continue this nice hobby of mine.

But I had to take it to the next level. I wanted to play wherever whenever. So I searched and I searched and finally ended up here in this wonderfull forum with alot of nice people and saw all their beautifull projects and wonderd if I could do it to. So I delved deeper in what could be done and what not and was pleasantly surprised That alot could be achieved with hard work and a supportive community. MODRETRO.

Here begins the tale of my Portable. The Breadbox Cube.

Hope you guys enjoy and hate it as much as I do.

Re: The GameCube Portable (02/11/2013)

Well,

F* up my Wiikey Today....

Used the method involving only 19pins and ground and 3.3v directly to the chip :(
Broke the little resistor that took 3.3v line

ok got it well all you have to do is solder to the pin doent matter if it has the componet

Re: The GameCube Portable (02/11/2013)

Re: The GameCube Portable (02/11/2013)

Well I got my new Wiikey Fusion hooked up but there seems to be a major problem.
I hooked it up and updated to 1.5 succesfull, Gamecube restarts.
Now everytime the tact switch that's connected to pin 29 doesn't seem to respond anymore.
When I press the switch on pin 23 the blue light flashes this first was achieved by presseing pin 29 switch and then the Gamecube says the Disc cannot be read?

I checked every pin and they're all correct. Even tried another Gamecube Mobo but no luck?
What could it be?

Please help. Thanks in advance,
Bakuku

Re: The GameCube Portable (03/11/2013)

Little update
Got my Wiikeys working again.

Now up to controller trimming.

Re: The GameCube Portable (03/11/2013)

Some Questions:

- How do you connect 2 Iphone Rumble motors to one controller?
- Can someone show me how to trim the MadCatz MicroCon controller?
There as a post, but can't find it anymore.

Thanks in Advance.
