So I made Zenloc's custom regulators, 1.9v, 3.3v and 5v. Yesterday my 1.9v reg died. My 3.3v works fine, but the 5v getrs really hot. I'm gonna buy another PTH8080W for the 1.9v, but can somebody tell me why the 5v gets so hot? It still outputs 5v nonetheless.

So I bought a 4.3" screen on ebay. I got it today and I tried it out. I used a gamecube ac adapter for the 12v input, but when I turned it on, I got white smoke coming from the display. I quicky tured it off. Now it won't do anything. Did I just kill my screen?

I'm trying to rewire the disc drive points to the cpu's via points, but I'm having trouble with the wire size, it just won't enter the hole. Can you tell me which AWG wire size do you use? I think mine is 30 or 32 AWG.
