Regulator problems

So I made Zenloc's custom regulators, 1.9v, 3.3v and 5v. Yesterday my 1.9v reg died. My 3.3v works fine, but the 5v getrs really hot. I'm gonna buy another PTH8080W for the 1.9v, but can somebody tell me why the 5v gets so hot? It still outputs 5v nonetheless.

Try to test for continuity with a multimeter.
