This is a project I did a long time ago but never uploaded because I was so embarrassed about how flaxty it was  ...
Yes, it is held together with hot glue

Okay, so I've been hearing stuff about a possible MRCA or TX meetup since like November or something. Is this really happening? Or is everyone just dreaming about it? If it really does happen, that'd be :awesome: . If this really is a possibility we should start getting it organized :wink...
In the RCP diagram [ viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2428 ]
Where it says L and R audio and the voltages, is that saying to wire straight from the cart slot to the board or what? Im confused at what its showing.
So, I have started a new portable. I'm calling it the Colossal64, because it's huge.
Design:
I've got the cart slot relocated, I'll upload some pics soon.
So, I needed something to do over winter break, so I started this:
So basically, it's first party guts inside a modded Mad Catz controller.
I redid the layout to be kinda like a 360 controller.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna add a dpad or not, if you have a suggestion on where to put one then tell...
Hey guys, I'm modding a 3rd party nes controller, and long story short, I need to relocate some of the controller contacts, how should I go about doing this?
I recently acquired a PSP Phat/1000. I got it for a steal cuz the home button doesn't work... I've looked around a bit, but I felt I should come here first before trying anything to crazy. If you have any ideas of what might be causing this, a comment would be appreciated.
Hey guys, I found this gba clone with flash memory ( http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.24381 ) on a site called "dealextreme.com" I haven't bought it yet because I'm not quite sure if it is a "safe" site to purchase from. If any of you guys have anything to say about that site please...
I heard that if your dmg has dead lines on the screen that you can solder up the ribbon cable to the plug thingy (pardon my noobiness) and it will fix it. Has that been confirmed? And if so, is it fairly easy to do?

Okay, so I'm going to finally take a stab at making a N64 portable. I'm going to try to update as much as possible, (when I'm not doing school stuff.) The portable won't be finished anytime soon, (if it is ever finished) but check back soon, I plan to relocate the cart slot this weekend...
Hey guys, I found this kick balls website that sells NES, SNES, N64, and even Gamecube parts for practically nothing. You can but individual parts like just a mobo or even just a control port!
here's a link: http://www.nesrepairshop.com/online_sho ... SSID=7445a
This is my design for my first N64p (I made it in Adobe Photoshop CS4)
This is just a "sketch" the final product probably won't look anything like this (It'll probably look 10 times worse  )
And don't say I should use a smaller case (even tho it would make it cooler) I'm not trying to...
Hey I'm new to modding (obviously) and I have read quite a bit but I still am not sure if I should use hot glue or epoxy or bondo or whatever to fill in gaps in the case. Thanks to anyone who responds
