KB PM'd me and told me that he thought Ish would be able to do a better job then him. All of the mods talked about this and agreed it would be good, and most members we heard input from liked the idea as well.

We like to have at least one moderator in the chatroom at any given time, and this will help that happen.

EDIT: To be clear, one of the big reasons we picked Ish is not only that he is on all the time, but that KB hand picked him as a replacement. If he had not, we likely would have gone through and done a proper election, with candidates selected by staff.
