So, if you are an avid ShockSlayer fan who reads all my posts, you'd notice that I posted some pics of some wired up regulators here, and some of a wired up audio amp here.

Well, what do you think I did all that for?

All the regs don't go higher than the fan, so it's all good. Ran the power wires to them, especially proud of the 5v and 3.3v regs, the are positioned so perfectly that the 5v b-hop's GND and Input via one short wire and a solder bridge, just because of how close together they are.

Things to note from the second pic:
- You can see the trimmer mentioned in the amp topic
- My knee is in this pic.
- Oh? That's my ingenious power cable for both the Wii and the GC, the brick is a Wii's, more amps = win.
- You can see my soldering iron's tip, and how it's basically rounded. Gonna RCP with it tomorrow.

Tried powering this off of 4 AA's for lulz, no dice. I might try again when I can disconnect the audio amp and the 5v reg, just to see if I can get the GC to boot.

EDIT: Got a new name, this is now the Xenolithic Gratification Cuboid. You can call it XGC if you want to.

So lately I've been dremeling down my soldering tips to resharpen them

It actually works! I do that right before DD and memory card soldering. Also had to do it when I wired up the component cable chip.
