Beta, I've been meaning to say, I don't think IDE cable is good for power in this portable. You will get the right voltage, and it might power the N64, but it restricts the mA. Some games might work and others might not. I think you should use thicker wire.

I'm doubling it up until I get something more substantial to replace it with completely. I switched out my main lines for controller wire, which is slighly bigger.

I think it's dead, but I haven't looked at it in like 3 weeks. Maybe I should play with it some more.
