Update time ! not that interesting but i want to whare my progres
i'll talk a bit for pics that need explaining then shut it ^^
tried to install a start button but failed in keeping the start/pause engraving as the first coat shows :
so as i said i sprayed a first coat to check imperfections, and i found out something weird, Epoxy seems to absorb the paint, making it a bit less taller, as anyone encounterde this before?
I then followed part of toast's advice and was about to properly install the screen but pussyied out a bit and used hot glue... meh
rest of pics speak for themselves, going to paint more and its about done for this part.
images are big and i forgot to make them smaller so i'll just link
progress on the paint job and most of the soldering is done, even though i had to directly solder to the B pad, it doesn't seem to cause a problem.
However i need your help, i cut through my headphone jack, and it is now irrecuperable. I have a spare one from some device other than a psone screen. I have foud ground, L and R, and there is an extra pin, could this be the switch? If i wire it to my psone screen, will it work? http://nsa25.casimages.com/img/2011/04/ ... 969049.jpg
