Re: Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

That's a pretty smexy block of wood you've got thar. I just hope you have a palm sander because that would be a Sega to sand.

Re: Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

What exactly are the symptoms of the Wiikey on IPL 1.0?

Re: Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

Just found out something. I just read over the Wiikey guide again, and I read that 24 - 28 awg wires are recommended. I think I used 16-18 awg wires and they are around 3-4 inches in length. Will this affect the Wiikey?? I going to get 24 awg tomorrow, but do you guys think it would be any different??

Re: Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

No, thicker wires shouldn't hurt it. In fact, they could help (possibly, depending on how long you're wanting them). Going thinner like you're planning isn't going to help really. Except that it would make soldering easier with smaller wires. You know, harder to bridge things when you only need a tiny bit of solder by comparison.

Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

Well I'm going to give it a try because I checked all the other options, and it STILL DOSENT WORK.

Sorry for mah crappy cameraman skills.LOL :awesome:

Re: Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

You're going to have to cut that in half, aren't you? You need a mold for each half of the case.

Re: Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

Yup.I don't wanna do that right now cus then I have to sand and fill, sand and fill, sand and fill, sand and fill, sand and fill, sand and fill, sand and fill, sand and fill, sand and fill.x2 if I chop it in half. :o

Re: Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

Er. Why do you need two molds? I suppose if you only have large sheets of plastic, and don't want to try cutting them.. Otherwise, why wouldn't you just do it twice?

Re: Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

Because,If you do one only the top part of mold will show and it will pain to put the stuff in the case. With the two pieces, its better, faster, and(somewhat)stronger.XD

Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

You form the top piece from a sheet, then flip the mold and do the bottom one with another sheet.
I don't get why you think of cutting it in half except you have a BIG sheet and don't want to waste it as kyosho said...

Re: Gamecube VITA WORKLOG!!!!

If you don't cut it in half then the thickness would be double the size of the mold.
