Im using tchays fan. Originally I was goin to power it off 3.43v, but the GC gets hot on 3.43. I was thinking just to power it off 5V, just to keep it a bit cooler.
Anyway, besides the above. If you can only run 1 thing from your 5v custom regulator then you're doing something wrong. Pics always help to troubleshoot.
Hmm, didnt think of that, thx.
About the custom reg, I bet I could run multiple things with the 5V reg. I was running my power hogging psone screen off the reg along with the GC, so I guess I jumped to conclusions about that.
Rewired custom regs, works like a charm, along with my mem cards.
Im not sure what audio amp to use, suggestions?
Also got a new SD card,16GB class 10. YAYUH.
Mega-Bump.
New board from ashen, been doin a bunch of casework this week. This is my case: https://www.pactecenclosures.com/images/XPL-9VB.jpg
Dimensions: 177.8 x 101.6 x 27.9 mm
Yea, its pretty thin. Internal batts as well.
I cant seem to get my SD gecko slot to work.. I load up swiss, select slot B, etc, and it stays at the "Setting up SD card" screen.
I saw a few people do it, it seemed like theirs loaded up right away.
Also does anyone have experience with these kind audio amps?: http://www.ebay.com/itm/iPod-Nano-T...er_MP3_Player_Accessories&hash=item415de38eea
Otherwise, everything is working fine so far. Im probably going to be closing this up by mid-December-ish.
Filled the giant indentation on the case with JB quick, and cut the screen hole. Still need to sand/file the screen hole a more to increase the size, so yeah. You'll notice since the indentation is filled, the plastic is extra thick. I need some ideas on how to fix that. That way the screen/ controls wont sit like, 3mm below the surface of the jb quick. Pics:
