Protip: Look for broken gamecubes, either on ebay, craiglist, or locally. I got 3 cubes for $10, all of them worked fine except one, it was literally missing the laser. o_O

Best part about that deal was I found it on ebay by searching for closest first, then finding out a local pawn shop was listing them, calling them and asking for them, then driving there and getting it all within 30 minutes.

Yeah, once, I got a working GC, 1 original controller and all cables for free!
Some people just don't know how much a GC is worth! :dah:

To us, at least. That's why a lot of us modders are also good at dumpster diving.

sorry for the late reply. But yes, that error is what i was talking about before. Its a standard error that will always happen if you don't have a DD plugged in OR the DD is not being registered by the motherboard.

This error is not related to the actual laser though. You can actually just plug in the daughter board by itself and this error goes away IF the daughterboard is working. So either you have 2 bad daughterboards, or the motherboard is somehow messed up. Hope that helps!

Its not the error when no DD board is inserted.
Like, it's starting the game -> game start's spinning -> laser is reading it -> and when it wants to start it it gives an error (not a disc could not be read)...
Should I upload another video about it?

Well, based off your video, that is the error that the gamecube gives when you have no DD inserted. I don't know if you are talking about a new error now, but the error in your video happens when something is wrong with your DD being detected by the Gamecube. The easiest thing to do is to test your disc drives on a motherboard that you know works.

Did you do any soldering to the motor that moves the laser?

SS
Nope.

It's not the one when no DD is inserted because it gives the full inro sequence.
When it has read the game it gives an error...

After the intro(with no DD) do you get the same message that you get when there is a DD?

It's the same error.

It gives the intro (with DD) and then after it reads the game it gives error (still at NGC logo).

Ok I don't understand what points you wired to. If you look up a pinout of the psone screen you can wire to where the original plugs were.

I have had trouble getting RGB on psone screens to work. Try composite.

I had composite before, but the colors were not that good.
Now I've connected RGB and Comp right from the board it's veeeeery nice!
