Test it first, I've done it before and for some reason it didn't work, figure it out before you build that case.

that would save a lot of time though! I never found a d pad I liked other than psone, ps3, and xbox ones. I have 1 xbox controller, 2 psone controllers, and 2 ps3 controllers. But I need them. and I don't wanna mess around with pcb's from the controller. Analog is win anyways

Alright so I hit a snag, When i wired up my screen the first time, everything ran perfectly; But now after I trimmed the board down, it wont give off video from the n64...all it does is flicker on and off when the n64 is turned on. and it isnt the n64, as it still shows video on the TV.
Update; It still won't show video, from wall power either. It is giving off video(I can mess with the brightness+volume buttons) But like I said, either way it will not take video from the n64.
I have no clue why, because all I trimmed was ground.
The batts are fully charged, I just dont get it...
