+
PulseVU

The Skyboy! And it costs under $50!

Is this a good idea? Is the seller of the two things listed above reliable?

Oh, and I may get this (http://cgi.ebay.com/2-NEW-Gameboy-Color ... 1|294%3A50) replacement screen too.

Stay tuned!

ONE DOES NOT BACKLIGHT A GAME BOY COLOR OR ADVANCE. ONE DOES NOT BACKLIGHT A GAME BOY COLOR OR ADVANCE. ONE DOES NOT BACKLIGHT A GAME BOY COLOR OR ADVANCE. Follow my GBA frontlight guide, as the process is the same for the GBC.

I'm going to hide now.

Re: The Game Boy Angel (WIP, still on concept)

Hee hee. It's alright, the frontlight guide is much easier anyway. As for the rest of it, it should turn out fairly well, since rechargable packs are easy to fit inside the curvy GBC case.

You could use make backlight, just nobody has the skills/interest to.

No, still, quite wrong.

Where are Palmer or Jleemero when I need them?

Yes it's possible to backlight.

Nobody has put in the time, money, and research to do so, as the "traditional" method won't work.

Just bloody frontlight it.
Cheap and easy.

Lawlz, you said it was possible on benheck, Bibin. That's what I was going off of

I was able to backlight my gbc!!! I had to hold It up to ma mirror to see it thou. I i hav to do is carry a mirror with me and.. play... backwor... nevermind.

Ha, I forgot Bibin said it could be done! He was lamenting how I was the one who gave you the idea, wait till he remembers his old post.

Basically, if you had a backlight source, shifted the frequency into something that was not visible to the human eye, had it go through the LCD, reflect off a one-way-mirror polarizer through a rear polarizer matched frequency shifter back to the visible spectrum, it would work.

Unfortunately, the technology is not really available to us. Sorry. :( Just frontlight.
