I really hate to bump this really old thread but, I'm looking to do a IPL transplant and I read there is a possibilty I could only switch the clock and leave the MX? If I attempt this will it fry my board? I want to help you guys out, but at the same time, I want to mkeep my board. 
(Reason for bumping and not making new thread is incase anyone sees Ashen post and tires it and frys their board or, If it works they can see where the idea and answer came from. No one will remeber/ find my imaginary thread if it wouldn't be stickied. So just wanted to clear up my reasons.)
To add HOW, HOW, HOW do I remove the square crystal from a IPL 1.0 board??? I dosn't seem to want to come off!
