So I bought a round trip to Melbourne and back, and I'm spending a month or so there.

Anyone know anything fun to do, other than smoke tobacco and punch dingoes?

Solid plan. Visit the one or two tourism spots in Australia, Spend the final three weeks on a roadtrip down New Zealand. North island has more people, South island more scenery. Our government recently panicked over the fact that we never actually named our islands, but I'm assuming they're going to stay named that way.
