Wireless gamepad - worklog

Now that my custom gamepad is ready is time for making it wireless.
I have a broken car alarm in my house and I think that the receiver/transmitter circuit from it would be great. Today I tested it and apparently it still works.

Now I have to design an encoding system for the 8 buttons.
And maybe changing a small circuit in the receiver it gonna be able for being used in a genesis and in a nes.

Today I trimmed the board of the car alarm to keep just the rf section.

Nice etching skills. What program did you use, eagle?

For these easy projects I use pcbwizard. When the project is more complicated then I use eagle.
The receiver/transmitter was too slow so project is dead

Gyroninja, the last post on this thread was a couple months old, where the OP specifically said the project was dead due to the communication hardware being too slow.

Please don't bump old threads without adding something useful. Thanks.
