Yes, a Macbook Pro would work fine for TF2. As for a desktop, just go ahead and build one. You'll be much more satisfied with the result.

I will build you a desktop that can play TF2 and most anything for $400 (monitor not included)

The newest macbook pros have the option for integrated graphics, which will NOT run TF2 well. Keep that in mind.

Well, it works fine, and it was purchased last year, and has the chrome and stuff.

Cept I am getting the Error "Cannot process request, server too busy" after trying to validate the files. All my friends are playing
