Bibin, jlee, thank you for enlightening me. It should be even clearer now how much my laptop sucks.

Anyone want to donate all the parts I need for a kick-ass gaming PC to me?

Hmm...I happen to have Commodore 64 parts laying around my house. A Commodore would be kick-ass computer for games.

I have a Core 2 Duo rig in the closet. It's pretty much been gutted for parts and replaced with crappier ones. The PSU and case always were crap. The mobo is a piece of crap, was from day one. The CPU is okay though, it's a Core 2 Duo E6300. A bit old but it's okay.

But you can't have it.

Lol.
Be glad it's Dual-Core.
A Single running at 1.7GHz, you'd kill yourself.

The PS3 has 256mb RAM.

The PS3 is good, but seriously, it is not THAT powerful. It just happens to have all the games optimized for it so it looks tolerable.

Like every modern console ever. ;)

Kick-ass console nonetheless, though. I could care less about its specs just as long as the good games keep on coming.

AMD 2.10ghz 64 X2 (Soon to be an AMD 3.10ghz Phenom II Black Edition, that will hopefully be OC'd to ~3.8)
Abit KN9 SLI Mobo
Nvidia 8600 GTS
3gb DDR2 RAM (Soon to be 4gb, then 8gb)
An IDE DVD burner (kinda old, but reliable and still kickin')

120gb IDE Secondary HDD
Windows 7 Retail/RTM 64-bit (Primary OS)
Mac OSX Leopard 10.5.6 [iPC/osx86] (Secondary OS, just installed yesterday because I needed it for Iphone development, I prefer windows 7)

I'll update my post when I buy those new parts.
