Noah7's First GCp, the LCube! WIP

So my new controller has an issue with the joystick, however I don't think it's the joystick. Whenever I even push up in the lightest way possible, the controller thinks I'm holding the joystick all the way up. I tried replacing the joystick, nothing. I haven't even done anything to the controller besides open it, so there aren't any bridges or anything. Are there any solutions for this? I've tired everything I could think of to troubleshoot.

Okay, so I know people have had this problem, but I'm not sure how to resolve it. I'm using a 3.5" screen, and when ever I pull video from the A/V port, it doesn't work (hard wired in that is.) However, when ever I use the A/V cables, it always comes up on the screen. Oh, and I opened the connector, and there isn't a board in there. So are there alternate points I should be wiring to? Or should I add a resistance on to the composite line, etc. I'm using a Rev. C by the way.
Never mind, got it working. Expect a finished projects thread today or tomorrow.

Okay, I need help. My GC keeps shutting off after a random amount of time. No matter what I do, nothing works. I've switched from my custom switch that powers the screen and the GC to just the switch that comes with the GC, and nothing. I've checked for shorts, unwired my controller from the cube, and nothing. Could it be the power supply?

Could it be overheating?

Overheating was my first assumption also. When I finished my portable GC, it kept shutting off after 5 minutes or so, and when I opened it up I realized that the parts all packed into the case were preventing the fan from spinning.

No, it isn't overheating. I wish it was, it would be a much easier problem to fix. I just tested it after leaving it off all night, and it turned off after 13 seconds. It isn't the PSU either, because the screen remains on after the GC goes off. Any other suggestions?

Alright, seriously, what the Heck. I have NOTHING wired to my gamecube, and it still randomly shuts off.
Fixed, no thanks to anyone. :p

It's still not fixed, and there is nothing wired up. Can someone please help me with this? I've done all of the trouble shooting I can...

Yes, I'm using the original power brick, with the power board, and it still shuts off.

So, I'm so close to closing this. Turns out though, after I glued my controller in, I found out I forgot to wire Z up.
Then, the B data line fell off. :gonk:
So, this may or may not be finished by today, but by tomorrow for sure.
Also, thanks to Nuke for the cube that is making all of this possible. :)

Oh by the way, this is finished. I'm going out of town for 2 days and don't have time to take pictures. :p
