Is there a way to compress gamecube iso for wiikey fusion?

Can you compress a gamcube iso file to save space on an sd card but still have the wiikey read it?

If you change out the firmware for the Swiss firmware then you can use fat32 iso's on the memory card. Some compressed games work fine and some apparently dont.
