Help please!

Alright, I bought a 2.5" screen, and it wont turn on. Maybe there's a bad connection due to a kit? Any ideas? I'll post pictures as soon as I can get this stripped screw out.

Some screens will only turn on when there's a signal applied. Have you tried that?

This. I had my 3.5 inch screen plugged into wall powr and nothing happened. But as soon as I turned on the system it was connected to, it turned on.

for some reason, my dealextreme screen 12v adapter had bad contacts that only worked if I totally pressed on the end of it really hard.

The wires might not've been soldered onto the jack very well. Happens every once in a while with stuff from China.
