Being the n00b that I am, I have a couple of questions.

1) I'm wanting to replace the original analog stick with a ps2 analog stick. Which points go to which? (Original controller by the way)

2) How do i make the switch for switching between controller port one and the hand held?

you cant use an analog with a first party controller it wont work

You need a third party controller for another analog stick. As for the switch,

Really? The original has 6 points and so does the ps2 analog.

The original uses a completely different technology for their analog sticks. Most 3rd party controllers use POT technology which is what PS2 gamepads ( and pretty much any other controller post n64) uses.

Update:

Alright, so I got most of dremeling done today. I now need to find a superpad controller in the next 4 days... I don't know if I'll get this done before school.

Soldering is goin fine and spray painting will start tomorrow.

What grade are you in? And have you considered joining your school's Academic Decathlon team? I joined mine. Got the top scoring speech for the large school division in the state of Texas.

But that's all I medaled in state level. I pretty much won regionals, though. Medaled in everything but interview, I believe.

I actually did think about joining. 11th, and I did like super quiz topic this year. I had to drop out cause of my mom and dad.
