Expansion Pak Relocation Help

So I attempted relocating my expansion slot, but to no avail. I wasn't surprised that I didn't get it on the first try, but what did surprise me was that it seemed there were more pins coming from the board than there were on the pak itself.

There shouldn't be. Some may be empty.

Oh, my problem was the 1 and 2 on the Pak. I didn't realize they were separate contacts.

If I remember correctly, the two pins on the end near the u8 are connected together and both go to the last pin on the expansion pack.

Are pins 1 and 2 essentially the same, then?
