Digital potentiometers

I'd like to use some simple digital pots in my projects, however I want to use it with 2 lm386's so I'd like to be small and simple as possible, but have 2 pots.


I'm new to digital pots so I need some input on what to look for. (10k would be good)

I'm assuming you want to use them for speakers?

Looks good for a mono setup, but I need it stereo.


Also I'd like to learn how to build a digital pot if I need it for something other than an audio adjustment.

Use two for stereo?

Otherwise I don't know much. Maybe use this one.

Then i'd have 2 up and 2 down buttons.

Couldn't you wire the switches to two spots?

Depends on what they use to adjust, but it may be possible. I'm going to look at some other audio amps and see if I can get anything out of that as it comes to parts use, I'm also going to experiment with my current stereo audio amp to see if I can reduce the parts it needs.
