Cleaning CD's (For any console/PC) The cheap way!

I heard that alcohol was bad for discs. Something about being self-drying. Is this true?

I don't think it's true.
I haven't had any problems with the CD's that were cleaned this way.

Oh, ah, about the peanut butter method. DO NOT get it in the inner circle of the disc, otherwise it may ruin it. It didn't ruin it for me, just made load times infuriating.
