Capacitor Question

I lost the 33uf 50v capacitor on the snes mini when I moved into my new area a month ago. I have a 33uf 16v capacitor. Would I be able to use that instead?

yeah, any 33uf cap over 5v will work.

Not too low, they use higher values for a reason, overloads, spikes etc.

I know, but it's true. anything over 5v, but higher is better.

Not too much higher.

The standard is to do at least twice the regular voltage.

If you don't want to wait, radioshack might have it.

A 16V capacitor will be fine as long as the value (uF) is the same. The normal practice is twice the intended voltage, to allow for spikes and overhead and such.
