I have just recently got a gameboy colour and i am planning on putting a frontligh in it but the problem i have is that when i attach power to the corresponding points on the frontlight it doesnt light up and all the leds work so im confused

p.s. its not a gba sp fronlight but it only has to points so it isnt that hard to figure out

Perhaps you wired it incorrectly? Could you provide pictures? If you're using nonstandard pieces, it isn't really possible for anyone to offer specific advice without specific information.

this is trying to illustrate the connections at the end of it it is exactly the same on the other side

bibin's frontlight guide is specific to single-LED frontlights, yours requires 6 times the voltage, i think

Like caps said, your frontlight has 6 LEDs. You'll need a much higher voltage. Something in the twenties. I suggest against this - you might want to find a 4-LED strip from a DS Lite, as the GBC's power regulator does put out a voltage that should cope with it.

The plastic panel you have looks like part of a backlight... it won't look good at all...
