I'm in the Purchasing Components Stage.
I leave for Colorado Thursday and when I get back I should have most of the parts.

Oh, and Once I am done with this one, I could do one for commission :thumb:

Update:
I have acquired most of the knowledge needed to do this.

I have already figured out:
-How to use the picoPSU.
-How to hook up the picoPSU
-How to Make a tray loading GD-Rom Drive
-All the Basics, Basically

If I need to know anything else, PLEASE tell me!

This will probably be my last update until I get started!

Going Home Today!!!

I currently have:
2 Dreamcasts (One works, one has a bad power supply)
Matierals for the Case
VGA/Composite/S-Video Box
Tray-Loadng CD drive

What I need is:
Screen
picoPSU
Keyboard/Mouse
Batteries

So I am pretty set.
Although I may have changed my mind about a Tray-Loading drive. I know it's not impossible to do, justa little awkward.
I will have to fool around with it for a little bit, maybe buy a few broken GD-Rom Drives.

You might be interested in my project thread - got system working off one 7.8v battery; with a 7805 and Ti card. No 12v and no PicoPSU...

Yeah, well I am still using a picoPSU for simplicity's sake.

no need to. i'll tell you here.

well, in short, my dads being a dick. he is making it really hard to get a replacement. i have found like twenty other screens around the same specs, (but thicker and with way more power draw) and he wont take any of em. i'll sit him down and have a talk with him tonight.

Also, I have decided to work with a Lead Acid 12V until I have enough money to get the battery I want.
