Best way to get AV out of a PS1 screen.

Actually, AV goes onto the PS1 screen, but thats beside the points.

Ive tried to solder to the pads on the back near the bottom, no dice, any tips on how to do this? Or is it just better to try and solder directly to the resistors B,C,D in this pic.

if I do it the second way, does it matter if I solder at the top, middle, or bottoms? And I can also cut off the bottom aswell?

Top of D, bottom of B and C. It's not as hard as one might think.

Does it work to just cut off the bottom? Then just hook up the Headphone jack and flux to everywhere else?
