Dont use SS's diagrams with mine. If I remember correctly SS made up his own numbering scheme that dont correlate to the pin numbers on the motherboard. Look at my guide for original dd pinout numbers.

That IS two separate switches. Why make things harder than they need to be?

You are really over complicating this. All you need are two tact switches and a 10k resistor. I do this in all of my portables without anything else. Just stack a squishy tact on top of a regular one.

Wow! that looks great man! Nice work. I wouldn't sweat the batteries to much, I'm only getting around 2 hrs playtime from my 14.8v 5000mah pack. Apparently these screens really suck the juice. :D The screen I'm using actually supports 1440x900 resolution. I think the converter board I have here...
