Great bargains from E-bay / Garage / Yard / Car boot sales

Re: Great bargains from E-bay / Garage / Yard / Car boot sal

So, the greatest deal ever continues. I have since made my entire $450 and then some back in cash, acquired several hundred rounds of .44mag, and the following:

I've got 17 magazines, and a flaxload of accessories with the CETME, along with some ammo. The Smith 59 and the Ruger P89 both have a couple magazines and enough ammo to fill said magazines. The Winchester Model 100 has two magazines (they cost like $45 each, its creepy), and I had to buy the scope myself. Was $80. So basically these babies were all free.

I still have half of the lead, more than half of the primers, and all the powder, wads and hulls.

I'm more afraid of Mario than Sam, you should be too. I'd need all the gun wielding women I can get for the upcoming Dolphin Pony wars.

I can't decide between dolphin/pony and pig/pig

Bought a Game Gear for £20 yesterday, came with 15 games. None of them are amazingly rare or valuable, but still, good price and working Gears are hard to come by, could probably use re-capping though.

picked up a nice hookah for $140. Loving this thing right now :awesome:

Neato! Hookah is pretty nice from what little experience I've had with it.

Traded my PSP 1004k value pack with 3 games for a N64+exp pak+12 games of which the two zelda, DK64, Mario party and banjo kazooie. It's all good since I still have my PSP 2000 :D

Also sold a boxed DS for 250kr. I bought it at a yardsale with two flash cards and Pokémon Diamond for 100kr.

Re: Great bargains from E-bay / Garage / Yard / Car boot sal

Today, I learned that 100kr is about 15usd.

Oh, I also bought a racing wheel for the original xbox at goodwill for $8 the other day. After finding the adapter I made years ago and some minor setup in xbcd, I had a working computer racing wheel. *Can'tSayThisOnTV* yeah.
  • On that note, they've had a n64 racing wheel there for a couple weeks now for around the same price. Should I go try and pick that up, too?

bought a dreamcast on ebay the other day that came with a few games. I got it today and it turned out to be a japanese version. Odd thing was it came with one jap game, but the rest were american copies. Opened it up and sure enough, it's been chipped :D

Kingdom of Heaven Directors Cut Blu: £1

Not a OMGWTF bargain but still, HD movies for a quid? Not bad.

Got a Wacom Graphire 3 for free today. bit old, but works great so far. Not used to it all though.

Also got a Winchester Super X 3 Shadow black for basically $89, which is lovely. Msrp $1100 or so, and its pretty much new, so I am happy.

Apparently the Game Exchange in Hamden (CT) incorrectly priced their n64s at 25$ each. They come with cables and a sealed 3rd party controller. I don't know if there are any left, but my sister picked one up, and I might do the same.

Re: Great bargains from E-bay / Garage / Yard / Car boot sal

Oh *Can'tSayThisOnTV* yes I'm stopping there after school.

Re: Great bargains from E-bay / Garage / Yard / Car boot sal

Forgot to post about this thing. Got it at a flea market for $10.

Top right corner is a picture of the switches, simplified grey alps.

I also ordered an adapter so I could use it with my ThinkPad in the picture.

Straight outta Compton.

I'm jealous of the numberpad/arrow keys/etc being on the left side. Like, seriously, that would be rather nice.

Left handed arrows/numbers just make sense nowadays. You need your right hand for the mouse, yo.

Sorry Marty, but GXC fixed the pricing issue.
I did get a smoky $15 Gamegear there though... although I'm having horizontal bar issues.
