Static maybe? Try using an anti-static wristband, or touch something that is grounded while you work. Just a thought.

I've got 6 cubes fried and I send 'em over to Zenl0c in exchange for some soldering I can't (like hardwiring).

Won't you have to use a TINY screen to fit it between the controls on that new case? Or will a 3.5 inch fit fine?

3.5 caseing will just be mounted on there with the wires goin throught the back...easy
