Ok thank you very much SS, any help is always really great, if I could not get this one working though, would you recommend I order a new sundriver, or order a wode as ashen recommended?

Might be the hard drive, you might want to see about updating the FW with one of those programmers.

Have you tried pressing the eject button the wii to see if it did anything?

Yes, I have tried the eject button, I've also tried multiple harddrives, I'm not really sure about updating, I don't have one of those nero programmers, not sure if I should spend my money on one. Also I tried the menu u gave me and the exact same thing occurred, "unable to read the disk" at this point I'm thinking it's the actual sundriver. Might just order a new one and give it a try, if it fails like this one, I may order that programmer. What do you think?

Ya that's what think SS, I'm going to order a new one and I will post back in here if I have any luck just incase Anyones interested.
