Starfox 2 reproduction (Need help)

I got a 27c801 eprom and programmed it with the patched rom and soldered it into a stunt fx cartridge but it won't work. Does someone have the md5 of the correctly patched rom that needs to be programmed for me to compare with? The patched rom worked fine in zsnes. I'm pretty sure the soldering is ok. I've tried it from start to finish twice.

The screen will go black when I try it but the game won't start up.

I'm quite a derp when it comes to the actual modding, but Starfox 2 used the SuperFX 2 chip, as opposed to the original SuperFX chip used in the original Starfox. Does the cartridge sacrificed for usage in this project contain the correct SuperFX chip?

Starfox 2 will run on a SuperFX chip, although I believe it won't be quite full frame-rate. I believe the SuperFX can also be overclocked to improve performance a bit, if I recall correctly. Doug would have a lot more knowledge on anything related to Starfox 2 reproductions.

Gross has it right basically. It'll work fine on a SuperFX, just a bit slower.
