No, it's not done, I still need to:

Secure the n64 mobo
Get batteries and wire them up
Power Switch
Charge Jack
Headphone jack
Fix Right speaker(no sound lol)
Brightness and volume buttons
Brighter screen mod

SS

Looks like it's gonna be easy to hold. I leik. If I ever get as awesome as you SS, I'm definitely gonna try this.

This is by far SS's best case. It has minimal hotglue, the front is just somewhat messy, and the cart slot is only somewhat badly cut out! :dah: :gonk: :awesome: :gonk: :dahroll:

Are you going to put some plastic around the analog stick?

Great job. This portable would look good either way. :)

You could do what I did on my Ncube. Put some of that black speaker grill cloth material over the stick pot but under the thumbstick. Sits in the hole and makes it look black and you can't see anything under the stick :)

Time for XCVG to be an asshole...

What the *Can'tSayThisOnTV*?! You make this epic little portable, and then saddle it with possibly the worst controls ever. The d-pad has got to be a joke! Radioshack buttons? WHY?! Because they're easy? You go through all that trouble, and then slap those pieces of crap on it? And seriously, what the Heck is up with those c-buttons. At least the stick is half-assed normal. Also, horribly disproportionate screen and speakers batman.

Nah, I'm just kidding. I just really hate radioshack buttons and tact switches. But because everyone else was so nice about it, I felt that someone had to be a troll for once, and stepped up to the plate. I could never build something that small (though I'm going to try anyway for YAP64^2).

Lookin' good, SS :) You've got some clean cuts on there for the buttons - are you going to keep the case the same way (as in paint/gloss/whatever)? I personally like the feel of the polycase cases - it's easy to hold and keep it in your hands. I'm a simple person - as long as it looks decent and works, I don't care what the buttons are. Are you intending to sell this one?

What I mean was, it's a nice portable, I just really don't like the controls. But if it suits your fancy, whatever. I know that a lot of people would NEVER do some of the weird flax I pulled on YAP64.
