It's not the one with the built in hot glue dispenser so it doesn't matter.

Lookin' great, SS. I think you're the master of setting up N64p's so that whenever anyone else makes one ever (except hail. Sorry guys, but that's craftsmanship), it's a clone. No matter what.

"Hey guys, check out my N64p!"
"Dude, that's a clone. SS did it first."
"But it's in a JB-55!"
"SS did it first."

Anyway, like I said, looks great. I can see it now....ShockSlayer incorporated...

But I like tact switches. :( They work fine, and regular *Can'tSayThisOnTV*ing buttons are nearly impossible to fit. And if I used the same type as A and B(which I would've if ratshack had more) then there wouldn't be enough room for the screen and I would botch the project entirely. Do you want that?

Anyways, I tried to hide my thumbnail in previous pics but apparently it slipped through this time. Ah well.

I was drilling a screw into my PVC pipe spiked batman are gauntlets when the drill slipped and smashed and pierced my thumb. Ruined my thumbnail. It's still growing back...it happened on Christmas break.

All of our hands bear the scars of modding and portbalizing. I still have a scratch down my thumb from working on the starlight 64 last december, and my middle finger is worn from blistering from using sandpaper so much.

Oh the prices we pay for awesome portables. :p

I wish you would use long tacts at least, and just drill holes for the button parts. It's silly to cut out a d pad and not actually have a d pad.

Anyway, awesome progress so far. Although, that's hardly anything with those buttons there compared to what I had to deal with for my Retro64. :p I should get some pics, I have it open.

Also, I still can't believe I was first to post in this epic thread. But I don't play that game.

Much progress, as I told betar: all I need is an on/off switch, volume/brightness buttons, a charge port, and some batteries and I'll be done.

Pics....tomorrow. No seriously, I am so whipped.

ANyways, now my n64's 7085 died. I have to replace it. Or there could be something else wrong. Either way it's pissing me off. I have a spare n64 though, so all is well in the world of SS.

Pics....tomorrow.

I've seen this in multiple places....what's a 7085?

Actually, a 7085 is a "PFM Step-Down DC-DC Controller". You're thinking of a 7805.
