rgb monitor

ok, so I want to finally get the best picture possible from my older game systems. That means I need an rgb monitor. The problem i have is that I can't really find any anywhere. I was planning on getting a c64 with a c64 monitor. Was the monitor for the c64 rgb? I heard somewhere that it was.

No, the Commodore 64 supported s-video, not RGB. The standard monitor uses separated luma and chroma plugs I believe. The Commodore Amiga, however, used RGB. So if you can find an Amiga RGB monitor, you're good.

On such an old monitor it really won't make a difference. I have a CRT TV that looks like HDMI when using S-Video.
