Retro Duo sound mod question?

The tutorial for the NES sound mod for the Retro Duo says that I need a 1x 2.2Kohm resistor. When looking for the Resistor online I noticed it came in 1/4 and 1/2 watt. The tutorial doesn't say anything about the watt and I couldn't find anyone else mentioning it online. Does it matter which one is used and if so which one?

It shouldn't matter. I would go with the 1/2 watt so long as it isn't more expensive just in case, but there really shouldn't be any different with a 1/2 watt and 1/4 watt on this.
