PS3 Super Slim announced

So, new PS3 design with a lower footprint, lighter, and uses less power.
From the sounds of it, it will be small enough to fit nicely into a 360 shell.

It also happens to be just the right size to make a 15 inch laptop out of.

I'm kinda excited about this, and $270 isn't exactly bad.

That's not a bad-looking unit at all. If I ever felt the need to replace my Phat I could see buying one of those for sure.

Design looks cool, interesting for portbalizing/laptops, but from a consumer point of view it's still ridiculously expensive. They should stop thinking "lol just add more storage" and actually make it affordable. The Wii U is a next gen console and will be costing around the same as this and the 360 S Elite, so I don't see the point unless they cut the price to $200 or less.

Hmm, $300 is a bit much to spend on a console. Sorry brand new Wii U, I'll save the 10% and pick up a six year old console instead.

Although I'm ganna wait till someone breaks one of those and do some evil things to that motherboard.

On another note, I've been working on some new mobo slimming techniques that MAY allow us to do portablizing for the PS3 and Xbox 360. We need more modding for those consoles anyway.
