Powering a GC.

I have the DOL 101 model, so I don't have to worry about individual voltages. However, is it possible to power a GC by hooking a 7.4v battery directly to the input on the DOL 101's built in power board?

If the integrated regulator is the same as the regulator from a rev a/b gc, you could fine where it outputs the 3 main voltages and use palmers custom regulators and bypass the integrated one completely. I dont know how feasable that is though..

Zenloc's

You pretty much have to use a higher voltage battery, I dor't remember seeing an easy way to get rid of the onboard reg.

Well, if all 12v is for is audio, how come you can't just feed it 7.4v? I've seen people use 7.4v batteries though. Do you have to wire the battery to a series of regulators and then wire the individual voltages to their corresponding spots on the board?
