here is the worklog for my portable jaguar
first the screen is a 4gamers pad screen

and took the jaguar apart

to get sound and video from the jaguar is easy here are the pin outs

then started to make the frount of the case

put the screen on its own board so it can be changed at a later date

then added the controls

next was the cart slot from Heck all 106 pins to solder had to do it 3 times

then removed the rf box and this metal thing

then added the battery 7.4 lipo and tested it works battery life is over 3 hours

then fixed the front of the case on painted it and added the decales

It looks great, man. This has inspired me to go out and gather supplies for a 3dop. Obscure consoles FTW!

the Jaguar board itself - how easy or hard would it be to cut the board in two and re-wire it? Is the board double layer? Do the traces affect the clock timings (like on the N64) or ok to extend?

not sure did look at triming it but there are a lot of traces at the edges on the sides.top and bottom there may be some room to trim.

That's ben's problem: He doesn't trim boards. Half his consoles could be a ton smaller if he trimmed.

I was talking about the system boards. You almoast have to cut controllers in portables. mainly speaking of big systems anyway, like jaguar and colecovision.
