Nobble's SNES Portable: The Scarlet SNES

Re: SNES Netbook

You should be able to get a good amount of play time with that. Are you putting it below the SNES motherboard, in the bottom of the case?

There's a quick shoop I did of the final product.

Re: SNES Netbook

Oh cool, you're doing onboard controls. Do you really have the PAL SNES buttons? They look better than boring old purple.

Re: SNES Netbook

Why would you do onboard controls if its a laptop?
Its great, but might be kinda bulky to hold.

Re: SNES Netbook

@zeturi - yes I have pal snes buttons. I got a 3rd party controller at a used game store.

@argelfraster - It's really not that big its like 7.5" x 5" x 1.5" so it fits perfectly in my hands. I could skip the onboard buttons. But would It really be called a portable then?

Re: SNES Netbook

Yes it would be called portable. ;)
It'd be awesome if you could have wireless controllers....

Re: SNES Netbook

Sounds good to me.
It's stupid to call it "net" anything, since it doesn't go on the net.
